    You don’t say. /s The problem isn’t ignorance. It’s a lack of motivation and / or depression.

      Leave your cell phone in the shower and only use it after you take it. Force them changes.

      Meds organizer on top of your phone in the morning with a bottle of water right there. No more missing meds.

        But you still have to both remember and be motivated to leave your phone in the shower, or put your meds on top of it.

          Yep, it’s all about those initial steps though. Once you start that routine it’s hard to break and becomes part of the ADHD ‘ocd needs to be in its right place’ habit.

          Depression meds will help with the same thing. It’s always that initial push though which is why taking meds right away when you wake up is so important. Once you get it as automatic as putting on your glasses — while also ynderstanding what the meds are doing — it helps.

            I don’t have routines though. I can get a routine going for maybe a few weeks, but if anything interrupts it, it’s over.

            I’m not on ADHD meds yet though, so hopefully they’ll help.

        For me, pill organizer next to the espresso machine and so it is part of my morning ritual. But yeah we all gotta find our best coping strategies.
