As many people here right now I assume, I’m coming to Lemmy as a Reddit alternative. I’ve got my account created via lemmy.world and have a bunch of other communities that I was able to find just by browsing the Communities section found here. However, since there are potentially infinite instances and communities out there, how do you guys go about finding new ones that might be relevant to your interests? The list of communities only gets you so far, imo.
The Lemmyverse site is good. There is also https://browse.feddit.de which I have used to find a few smaller communities from instances that don’t show up on my own home instance (Lemmy.world). Then I can search the specific community name on lemmy.world which makes it visible for anyone else on my instance to find going forward from the main community search.
