Just hit chapter 104, and I think I’m done for the day. I just finished the Nazuna and senpai/detective arc, and now it’s shifting over to Kiku and the detective’s father and Mahiru and all of that, and I know if I read too far into that, I won’t be able to stop.
This is a great series, which is especially surprising since it combines so many cliches. But they each have a fresh spin, and they interrelate in interesting ways. And both the writing and the art are top notch.
I didn’t expect to enjoy the story as much as I do now.
I saw the first episode of the anime adaptation (some months ago ?) and was drawn by the night settings, which I thought would be a nice relaxing read before going to bed. But I never imagined that what looked like a light slice-of-life with a touch of vampire romcom to go this way.
