Actually…yeah, I suspect Breitbart is lying out of its ass again.
Searching for an alternative is impossible. Every instance on Google references the Breitbart link. Alternative don’t exist to find.
Believing that this is true is like listening to Trump say “We’re gonna walk down to the Capitol” and believing you’re gonna pal around with the president in the halls of Democracy.
Assuming any of that is true, it’s been going on for four years?! And now it’s being brought up again? Talk about an agenda…
In any case, the Snopes article clearly says they’re acceptable forms of I.D.:
Snopes reached out to Johnson’s office, which sent us an exchange between Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, and the TSA in which the latter shared a detailed document listing permissible items of identification: “… in coordination with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) counterparts, TSA established a process where it will accept certain DHS-issued forms for non-citizens and non-U.S. nationals who do not otherwise have acceptable forms of ID for presentation at security checkpoints.”
In a list on page 3, the TSA acknowledges the following forms are acceptable at checkpoints:
Then a list of forms…
It sounds like they are acceptable forms of ID, in direct contradiction to both the Washington Examiner and Breitbart.
So, you tell me which is inaccurate since you provided contradictory evidence.
If a citizen, for whatever reason, had one of the forms, it’s pretty clear they’d be able to fly like any migrant. If, however, the citizen identified themselves with, say, a driver’s license, then…they wouldn’t have the DHS-issued form for non-citizens because they don’t need and they’d still be able to fly.
Really, it seems like someone is trying to create a problem where no problem exists.
The issue is different standards. We are talking about airline safety. After 9/11 we created stricter standards and they’re being ignored for illegal migrants.
I suspect it’s it’s the new because a bill has been sponsored to stop this behavior. Also since tsa
Air Marshall’s are being diverted. It doesn’t make sense to increase the risk.
Do you have the CNN article or not? Because I’ve looked for this news elsewhere and like Peepin pointed out, it seems only breitbart is peddling this shit.
It is actually. The source is cited, you would then provide a countersource if you disagree. You just don’t scream, I don’t like your cite! That isn’t how you have a discussion or debate.

That’s not how that works. You guys have failed to meet the burden of proof by only providing a shitty, unreliable source. I have no duty to fulfill a burden of proof when you guys haven’t done so in the first place.
You just don’t scream, I don’t like your cite!
“Cite” is a verb, not a noun. The word you’re looking for is “citation”. And breitbart is hardly the quality level journalism to even be called that.

I’m sure breitbart, historically known for lying out the ass isn’t at all misrepresenting the situation. Can you use an actual source?

Which part do you think is inaccurate ?

Democrats don’t want to deport. They should be shipped right out of the country.
Or! It doesn’t make any sense to tell them to appear at court on a certain date and then deport them.
Well, when you do that, illegal immigrants have a habit of disappearing.

The issue is that wouldn’t work for a citizen or anyone else.
I’m not so sure about that…
If a citizen, for whatever reason, had one of the forms, it’s pretty clear they’d be able to fly like any migrant. If, however, the citizen identified themselves with, say, a driver’s license, then…they wouldn’t have the DHS-issued form for non-citizens because they don’t need and they’d still be able to fly.

A citizen could never have one of those forms.
Not all drivers licenses can be used anymore. It has a be a real id.
The issue is we are allowing illegal immigrants to travel unidentified using planes. That isn’t a privilege afforded to anyone else.
I fly on a regular basis. Not a lot but 2-3 times a month. I have to present my passport plus I have to do a security background check.
We could be flying cartel members around the nation with no documents required.
Except they have approved documents from the DHS that identify them. That is the entire point of the documentation they are required to carry.
And a US citizen wouldn’t need those documents because they’re not migrants.
I feel like there’s an unstated value judgement that I can’t quite identify here. What’s really the issue here? That they shouldn’t be transported?
The issue is different standards. We are talking about airline safety. After 9/11 we created stricter standards and they’re being ignored for illegal migrants.

Please point out the misrepresentation.
I have better things to do than teach you guys how to use higher quality news sources.
You’re making the claim it’s inaccurate. By requesting more cites, that’s sealioning for more information.
CNN has the story as well.
No, I’m saying it’s a terrible source, so I don’t trust that the headline is accurate, especially given how sensationalist it is.
Well?
I’m fine with the source provided.
Do you have the CNN article or not? Because I’ve looked for this news elsewhere and like Peepin pointed out, it seems only breitbart is peddling this shit.
I do but it’s not my job to do your homework. I gave other articles as well which isn’t my job but Peepin was struggling to find them.
Then where are they?
Do you have a source saying the situation is different?
The burden of proof isn’t on me.
It is actually. The source is cited, you would then provide a countersource if you disagree. You just don’t scream, I don’t like your cite! That isn’t how you have a discussion or debate.
Funny that you have no problem using a White Nationalist site as a source.
Idk though, maybe more news sites could use a “black crime” tag.
Gee, wonder why people think y’all are Nazis?
Which site is a white nationalist site?
Breitbart, the source of the article.
I don’t read Breitbart. I would ask a cite for your claim, but I suspect you can’t.
Yeah, like I said: maybe more news sites should start using a “black crime” tag.
You could look into it yourself, but isn’t it more fun to remain in ignorant bliss? After all, why would you want to know?
That’s not how that works. You guys have failed to meet the burden of proof by only providing a shitty, unreliable source. I have no duty to fulfill a burden of proof when you guys haven’t done so in the first place.
