These are used as one-way-doors (like the Nintendo Switch firmware upgrade fuses https://switchbrew.org/wiki/Fuses#Anti-downgrade) or tripwires (like Samsung Knox https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Knox#e-Fuse)
