75% of issues on the highway that I see are caused by dump trucks. I fucking hate those things. They’re also responsible for 80% of the chips I get in my windshield. No dump truck driver seems to know how to drive, and no one on the road knows how to drive around dump trucks. I see people cut in front of them all the time and then slam on their brakes for some reason or another.
Considering bridges are multimillion dollar that fine is nothing. Stop hiring people who can’t fucking drive
… and/or working them to exhaustion so a simple checklist is too hard to get right.
