The ongoing outbreak of fires in Canada is sending new waves of smoke into the American Midwest, and the pollution has been seen as far away as Europe.
I live in BC and wildfires are a part of life out here. That said, they’ve been getting larger and more frequent, especially over the last couple years. Now we have El Niño on the way too, I can only imagine how bad it will be next year.
It’s wild to me that people still refuse to make the connection between climate change and these events.
