I used to have a ton of respect for this guy, but lately, a lot of the stuff he’s been saying has not made any sense. I don’t know what’s going on with this guy. 
I’m just so disappointed. Like Jill Stein is aware, running for president as a third party candidate is a grift. He’s not getting the word out there any more as candidate West than as Dr. West, who could basically just walk onto any news show and get an interview. I can’t imagine he doesn’t know that.

he gave that back. i think he should take money from every rich sucker who will give it to him.
While I understand your point, it often creates issues beyond optics.
