They have a point because I am European. Being a teacher in my area is pretty alright right now.
Still, I was aware of what I was getting into and if everything goes downhill I can still work as a journalist or in an archive wich sounds waaay better than teaching history to children who really don’t care.

You could add International Relations to your degree. That would probably open up a lot of options.
