Fedora Asahi Remix is now available for download as a Fedora Linux spin that runs on Apple Silicon Macs with the KDE Plasma desktop.

Announced in early August and initially planned for the end of the month, the Fedora Asahi Remix distribution is finally here for those who want to install the Fedora Linux operating system on their Apple Silicon Macs.

The distro is based on the latest Fedora Linux 39 release and ships with the KDE Plasma 5.27 LTS desktop environment by default, using Wayland.

    That is great to hear, but I am just a little annoyed that I just installed the beta the other day. Would have been nice to have the full install experience.

      You can update to the full release the same way you’d normally update Fedora

        I know, it is just the timing is all I am complaining about. It makes no real difference, but it bothers me for reasons unknown.
