Golf is the worst sport because it has the most environmental damage required to play
I’d say building giant stadiums and paving over large chunks of land for parking lots is worse. At least golf courses have vegetation.
Stadiums don’t need oversized parking lots, they can do just fine with a well designed transit line and station.
