I suspect he would have considered both Islam and Christianity to be heretical, but he was pretty peaceful except when money lenders were involved so yeah he’d probably hate the situation. It’s interesting to think about how ancient figures would consider modern events.

Why would Israelis care about Christ?
He’s jewish.
He’s a home town kid who made it big in the city.
He pays off other peoples’ debts.
