Seems like a breech of privacy. I’m absolutely not on her side, but revealing that is sort of crazy.

It’s a sexual assault investigation. If you rape someone and the police seize your phone then that’s hardly a breach of privacy.

Man, why is this so hard. I’m saying that the victim may not want people to know how many videos there are.

Yeah, I agree with you. Police releasing random information about an active investigation is not something that should happen, unless they need the public’s help for whatever reason (which is not the case here, all parties are known).

In fact, we’re not even sure if any crime happened here to begin with. The victim says it’s assault, the suspect says it isn’t. It’s irresponsible to release any information until and if there’s a trial.

Sure, it’s fun to point out their hypocrisy, but this is not how these things should be handled. There should be privacy for both victim and perpetrator until this can be hashed out in court.

I was kidding in my comment.

I also don’t agree with people down-voting you. Even assholes who should be in jail for-eva don’t deserve mob-centric and humiliation as punishment. I very much want “us” to be better than “them” and not sink that low.

The sentiments are understood, but what if the victim is ashamed of this and hasn’t processed it yet? What if each announcement of tapes creates more trauma?

If they were bodies in a murder investigation, I’d think differently. But this feels unnecessary and somewhat salacious. I despise Ziegler for her alleged crimes and for her actual misconduct in her job, but it’s not the investigators’ jobs to decide how someone is punished.

Damn government watchdog groups and their damn public records requests. Just leave the government alone to do it’s work, am I right?

I don’t understand why anyone would want to watch a video of this woman and an alleged rape victim. What is wrong with you?

There’s plenty of free, consenting porn out there to masturbate to.

The videos, I believe, were consensual, as the “family values” and anti -LGBTQ couple were in a 3-way relationship that included this woman. Still, the video was possibly intended to remain private
