Most snowboarders are drunk on mulled wine so yeah, going in a straight line is beyond them but sober than up and they would go as close to the rock as this guy. I’m sure he can do some interesting things but going straight on a flat tracks is not one of them.
It’s just the camera lens, it’s not really that close.
I guarantee you’re a lot further away from those rocks than he is while you’re sitting in your lazy boy recliner
Actually I’m not only snowboarding closer to rocks than this guy but I’m also typing this on my phone as I do it. So yeah, not impressed.

It’s probably a matter of personal opinion but I definitely boarded on steeper tracks with more turns.
