Total Votes per Match
I could feel engagement increasing as it went on. I was very nervous at the start this was going to be a tremendous waste of time, as I think only 33 people voted in favor of doing this when I proposed it. Very happy how it turned out though. We picked up a lot of new people and you were all very chatty compared to normal. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, and you all learned about some new owls.
Remember for next year - put it on the community promos. I bet they will let you post when it starts next time! I think this is an event not just extreme owl enthusiasts can enjoy. All of Lemmy should participate in the Superb Owl Superbowl.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for other comms that would be interested. After seeing it got more popular than it originally looked to be, it could definitely pull in more people next time.
