    And people still playing those games. Kotick wouldn’t be as successful if those that usually buy Activision titles would care enough about the games getting worse.

        It’s not going to work. For every person that hears the calls to boycott and acts on it, ten others won’t. For every person that hears the calls to boycott, ten others won’t hear that call at all. The only viable way of cutting into CoD in my opinion is to give people an alternative to play.

          Battlebit Remastered is quite good, but it aims to undercut Battlefield.

            Battlefield is undercutting itself by being terrible. Battlebit is restoring what originally made battlefield great but has since been stripped out.

          The only viable way of cutting into CoD in my opinion is to give people an alternative to play.

          A better alternative needs to supplant CoD’s place in the minds of the casual gaming crowd. I know so many people who don’t care about industry drama and just buy the latest CoD, Madden, etc. game every year simply because it’s the thing to do.

            If the whole school is playing CoD, you’ll be left out of you’re playing a better game.
