In 2020, the studio pulled The Sinking City from all stores, accusing Nacon of missing payments, holding back €1 million in royalties, and claiming IP rights to the game – something the studio insisted had always belonged to it.

I only heard about how they were getting fucked over after buying it on PS5. This game is awesome. Kinda reminds me of Dark Corners of the Earth, but bigger and better. I love the system of investigation where you can cross-reference your clues at the library, police station, hospital and city hall. You’re not just some kind of super computer that can deduce exactly the next waypoint after finding a single piece of evidence.
Combat is hella jank tho, and it is absolutely necessary in a lot of quests. Probably the only thing it does worse than DCOTE.
