The Florida Supreme Court will hear arguments next month about a proposed constitutional amendment ensuring abortion rights in the state.

With the measure’s supporters getting close to meeting the petition signature requirement, the Florida Supreme Court on Wednesday said it will hear arguments next month about a proposed constitutional amendment ensuring abortion rights in the state.

The issue at hand on Feb. 7 will be whether the Supreme Court should approve the wording of the proposed constitutional amendment and allow it to go on the November ballot.
