    I can actually understand that. It’s a job that requires two homes, one in an expensive area, and a lot of travel as well as making it difficult for your spouse to work. That said, they’re who changes their pay.

      That is a big problem…

      That can be fixed with a single fucking hotel for them they can use while in town.

      Or actually unfreezing the house and recognizing that there’s zero reason they can’t telwork from their home states as house Reps

      I’m still convinced the reason politicians are forcing gov agencies back to the office is they want to go back to DC instead of shitty backwater places they’re supposed to be representing.

      So are you in agreement that once elected they should be given a space within a shared apartment complex in the Capital and their business related travel should be allowed to be expensed? Beyond that, it’s all on them?

      Cause, that I can understand. Paying them more, I cannot.

        Tie it to a formula based off minimum wage and that shit would be like $25/hr, even if they got 10x minimum
