minus-square@maxwisecracksOPlinkEnglish15•edit-211 months agosadly this release breaks a lot of things for me. a lot of media is unable to play (too many errors. giving up) it works with libvlc (audio delay) but not with exoplayer. the previous version worked flawlessly. edit: google chromecast with androidtv 4k
minus-squareexulinkfedilinkEnglish10•edit-211 months agoApparently they replaced ExoPlayer in this release. Replace ExoPlayer with androidx.media3 I’d suggest you file an issue.
minus-square@maxwisecracksOPlinkEnglish11•11 months agoI think someone already did: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv/issues/3295
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•11 months ago…and 0.16.4 is out now to hopefully fix this issue, which the dev has diagnosed as being due to tunneling.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•11 months agoOh same here. It broke exoplayer and it took me a long time investigating until I found this article quite by accident. ☹️ If you file a bug report please do post it here. I’m using MX player which has other problems I’d like to avoid.
minus-square@PzululinkEnglish2•10 months agoThank you for highlighting this. A few things have had issues playing today and I could not think why. My TV just updates apps automatically, so I don’t get that chance to put the possible cause and effect together.
