Some of Reddit’s most popular communities have posted open letters to the company with a series of requests regarding many key issues at the heart of the recent protests on the platform. They want a response by June 29th.

    I agree, and I’m trying to do the same. I just said this in a different thread somewhere else; but it seems to me like it’s less about how complicated the platform is, and more about how users are communicating about it.

    Like, I don’t give a shit about the mod tools, or instances, or whatever else; I just want a place to come and look at art and read about game programming. Those more behind-the-scene details are cool, and certainly important, but it’s not a very good selling point for users who just want to leave Reddit and want something to fill that void.
