John Herbert Dillinger (1903-1934) was an American gangster during the Great Depression. He commanded the Dillinger Gang, which was accused of robbing 24 banks and four police stations.
Dillinger had a Texas based gunsmith named Hyman Lehman do the work for him. Lehman also sold to Baby Face Nelson, Pretty Boy Floyd, & Roger “The Terrible” Touhy. Basically he was like an outlaw gunsmith.
