minus-square@doinglesslink4•1 year agoYeah probably 17th century - confirmed as early as 1703 but expected to have existed earlier. So I was definitely wrong. But how do we know it wasn’t invented thousands of years earlier and forgotten? But yeah, not in Jesus’ time.
