Reddit was a fucking garbage dump and I am glad it’s finally going to be dead. Long live literally any new social media platform so long as it doesn’t engender a culture of nastiness, vitriol and hate.
It is quite toxic, yes. But what major, commercial social media platform doesn’t thrive from exactly those things you list? Work those human triggers and get nicely receptive advertising targets.

I’m hoping this place isn’t toxic anytime soon. The bigotry and Anti Semitism on Reddit is reaching twitter levels lately.
