I generally stick to fantasy and historical fiction. Just read Fire and Blood which I loved and I’m almost done with Prisoners of the Castle which is pretty decent, an odd chapter in WWII history akin to the Battle of Schrute Farms in the Civil War.
Not sure I got much for ya. Science fiction alternate history? I’m reading the Deathworlders book(s) now. Turns out, humans are the baddest “aliens” in the galaxy, and it’s a pretty sane take on how that works out. I’m on page 4,500 out of whatever. Still digging it.
If you like fantasy, how about the Discworld books? Plowed all 41 in just a couple of months. Couldn’t believe I had been missing out on such clever literature. Looking forward to reading those again and again, seeing all the things I missed on the first passes.
Wow you read so much more than I do! I appreciate the recommendations. Sounds like both series will keep me busy for a very long time. I was happy when I finished all 5 Game of Thrones books!
