So this is only somewhat related… But right now using Tor for normal work can be inconvenient because (i. a.) it has slower transfer speeds due to limited number of nodes. But I’m wondering, if in a hypothetical world where Tor takes over majority of internet, could it offer similar convenience as currently non-Tor internet, just anonymous?
What’s make me suspicious about TOR network, is that most of the end nodes are controlled by the US government… And because it was first build for the US army.
If only people would switch to I2P, this would greatly improve anonimity !
