    Wait a minute. I live in the USA and I thought the reason we couldn’t federaly fund renewables was because “it doesn’t matter if we switch to renewables because China will still destroy the world with fossil fuels anyway.” Are you telling me that someone in our government lied to us? -s

      The US doesn’t want to switch to renewables for national security reasons. Funnily enough, national security is also a big reason why China DOES want to switch to renewables.

        If you’re going to make a claim, support it.

          China has remarkably low oil reserves for a country of it’s size. One of the biggest consumers of oil are automobiles… Which is why China is simultaneously developing EVs at a breakneck pace and developing the necessary power generation tech to support a massive increase in electricity demand.
