I agree the instance are a little hard to wrap your head around but I hope it takes off. A centralized signup process that randomly assigned accounts to servers would be better imo. Also defaulting the communities search and feed to ALL would make it so people don’t need to learn all about the inner workings to get started.
Idk if randomizing accounts to servers would be better, but I do think a more mainstream instance will help. Once people get on board with it, they’ll move to different instances.
