Some folks around here are (somewhat understandably) a bit sensitive about their government’s inability/unwillingness to hold fascists accountable and take it out on the messengers

But, yeah, just to underscore your point - I’m virtually certain the DOJ is already suing Texas over this exact same thing, so I don’t know what kind of further “appropriate action” they think they’re threatening here
