I need to change the screen on my phone and unfortunately the repair shop has to wipe the phone - don’t ask why, something related to personal data etc.

I am looking for a hassle free way of basically cloning my entire phone and restore it once i get my phone back.

My normal backup procedure is to store photos in Google photos and backup other things using Samsung backup, but it would be nice to have something similar to how iphones can be restored from a backup in icloud where the entire phone is “cloned”.

I do have a Samsung account, but it was my impression that it’s not a full backup of the phone. E.g. only apps from Galaxy store is backed up, so i would have to download all apps again from Google play store

My experience in the past friend ( and I don’t want to condone this just incase, this is simply my experience) has been that when transferring to a new phone, virtually everything has been returned including pins, fingerprints and the actual app data themselves EXCLUDING the Secure Folder on Samsung, I think that’s exclusively physical storage vs. Cloud.

Hope you find a solution soon! :D

I’ll have to try that out, but I would still have to make a separate backup of everything - Just in case… I wouldn’t trust this process until I have tried it out.
