Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will have a New Game Plus mode, but seemingly only if you shell out a bit more money for the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition.
Between every entry prior to Judgement, I could close my eyes and say it’s just fine, it’s still a lot of game for the money. Now though, I’m kind of over it, and all the nickel and diming. SEGA locking basic features behind a paywall, in 2024, is the same as modern cars not having paid options for what my 2004 car had standard.
The games follow practically the exact same storyline every time, and while the turn-based gameplay of 7 was a pretty cool addition to the title, it’s not enough for me to justify anything even close to what they want for the deluxe edition
