I need to change the screen on my phone and unfortunately the repair shop has to wipe the phone - don’t ask why, something related to personal data etc.

I am looking for a hassle free way of basically cloning my entire phone and restore it once i get my phone back.

My normal backup procedure is to store photos in Google photos and backup other things using Samsung backup, but it would be nice to have something similar to how iphones can be restored from a backup in icloud where the entire phone is “cloned”.

You could try to check my guide here which, while it is about modding a specific device, in the backup section the advice could be used for ~all android devices.

You probably don’t have a custom recovery installed or root access, so your options are very limited (but at least there are some🙂). You’ll probably have to find your way on using helium backup combined with a random apk backuper. It’s gonna be tedious.😅

PS. ~Always confirm that your backups work and can be restored, by following your restore process!!
