The text inside the button itself may be overridden by some custom style somewhere and someone forgot to modify it for a theme. I don’t see anything here that couldn’t be just a minor oversight by a dev.

You have to go through this prompt before accessing anything on the site. This means that they whould know what colors are used for all new visitors to the site.
