I really like this season so far! Best one since the first season, IMO. But I do miss the interview scenes, I think they would fit really well with this seasons story.
Looks like they kinda hamfisted one in there for you. Other than some of the VO during that scene, it really felt like something cobbled together in post - I wonder if that was a prevailing sentiment in their focus groups.
It felt to me like about half an episode worth of story that got crammed into a vague investigation interview, then they called Foster back to do a new VO.
Overall I loved it though, that ending montage just felt rushed.
