Lemmy.world grew from around 51000 total users the moment 3rd party reddit apps started to shut down on June 30 to 71000 total users at the time of this post (July 1). That’s a 40% growth in about 12 hours!

    Holiday weekend too. Might be messy data points

    I do site traffic for a living and it can be some of the lower weekends for non-commerce sites

      After i read your comment, i thought “Nah, its a worldwide community” and when i checked back a few hours ago, its pretty much back to usual. Oh well.
