Y’all have a serious problem accepting the fact that most people are, in fact, evil, and it shows.

It’s one thing to accept the fact that people are capable of terrible, evil things, and a totally different thing to encourage said behavior for political and financial gain.

Encouraging said behavior is evidence that humans are inherently evil, not a point against it.

“Capable” does not equal “inherently” - he didn’t say what you’re asserting.

A meaningless distinction because people show that they prefer evil all the time

It’s more important than ever to be precise in what you say and mean.

I offer no cover or comfort to traitors like Trump, but do understand that most people just want to live their lives in peace. Evil comes into it when some want more than what life has to offer, and will claw more at any expense.

That is not “people” in general. This is why precise word matter.

But most people are like that. Even by your definition of evil, most people are evil and that’s by virtue of the fact that life right now offers nothing to them, so them wanting anything makes them evil by your definition.
