minus-squareathos77linkfedilink1•8 months agoFor the island, my guess is that the plastic washed up on shore / reef / rocky beach. Then over time, the sun slowly melted it and it eventually got stuck to rock. More rock washed against it and eventually sank in to warm plastic.
