    Synology software is proprietary, I wouldn’t trust them that much. Better to buy a Raspeberry PI to selfhost a NextCloud server

        Indeed. Before I migrated all my files to M-Disc I used to encrypt them using PGP before uploading to the cloud. A good approach too
