Wanting bachelor chow is basically how I ended up eating Soylent every day.

Unironically, I tried it back in the day and all their flavors sucked, the owner is kind of a weirdo and had to be bullied into having flavors at all, supposedly.

That said, someone finally made him make a mint chocolate and it is

          Okay.

Still, it is actually a decent meal replacement drink. I don’t care for them but for people who need to lose weight or need a specific calorie regimen in general it’s okay and not counterproductively overly sweetened like a lot of the others.

Oh yeah that was a Futurama Bachelor Chow reference but yeah soylent isn’t great. That being said i have a four pack in my fridge for cases of extreme decision fatigue.

How did that work out for you?

Works great, it’s about as cheap as you can get for food, and takes like 10 minutes every two days to prepare.

I do, but breakfast and lunch five days a week is more planning and effort than I’m willing to do, so Soylent just gives me back time and energy. Now if I had private chef money, id be rocking French toast every morning before work

Yeah I understand. I think it’s very time consuming also, specially with a family that expects new food almost every day. Im probably getting takeout food at least 2 times per week now.

Is there a food service called Soylent these days? All I could think of is Soylent Green but that is an “unknown” substance from a movie.

I wouldn’t mind eating that though.

Yeah there’s a company that makes a nutritionally sufficient soybean-related sustenance slurry called Soylent. My understanding is it’s perfectly survivable.

Yeah, there’s a long history but it sort of spawned from people wanted Bachelor Chow irl
