this is still not as bad as “flushable wipes” that are rather explicitly not flushable. i still can’t believe they are allowed to advertise/sell like that.

Yep. It’s really not a big deal to use liquid or powder detergent.
Same. I started finding plastic melted to the side of my washing machine and stopped.
