I always believed that there were none, but on a rewatch of QI, I learned there are actually two:

  • Hurple / hirple: To limp (verb) or a limping gait (noun)
  • Curple: A strap under the girth of a horse’s saddle to stop the saddle from kicking forward.

A horse that was wearing a curple,
Found the sting of a wasp made him hirple,
Said the horse, “I don’t mind”
      “But I’m starting to find,”
“That the spot of the sting has turned purple!”

          I can *fin’ly fin-ish my *lim’rick

I’ve been at it so long *that my head’s thick

My lines rhyme with no hirple

But unlike links that are purple

*Sadly some of these words don’t quite click.
