I don’t really know anything that you won’t find in all manner of popup-related youtube videos, but I will say that the one thing that caught me off guard was that the lug nuts on the camper’s wheels are a different size than the ones on my car. Anyone who pulls trailers probably knows this (and I know it now…) but I didn’t know it before we got a flat tire 300 miles in to our very first trip with it. We had to unhook and leave the camper on a county road while we drove 9 miles to the nearest AutoZone to get a socket that fit. And this leads in to the other lesson I learned quickly - when jacking the trailer up, make sure it is attached to your tow vehicle, or else it is not stable enough to do this repair.
How do you like the popup? Debating getting one currently, 2 adults + 2 kids. Anything to look out for?
