Citing UN sources, the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs says that the “wholly inadequate humanitarian access over the last 4 months” means that the population faces acute food insecurity, with a serious risk of famine developing. “This is unconscionable,” the statement says.

“Freezing or withdrawing funding to UNRWA further exacerbates these risks - States which have done so must urgently rescind this decision and resume funding.”

Maybe not. At least as long as Western governments can rely on people like you to support Israel in its genocide. Fortunately, people like you are becoming rarer and with any luck, the Western governments (the US) will no longer be able to maintain their complicity and put pressure on Israel to recognize the human rights of the Palestinians, whom they have been trampling on for over 50 years. And with luck there will be a solution that both sides can live with. Because without this luck, the decline of the American empire will continue and at some point Israel will no longer have a big brother - the friends of the people it has oppressed for 76 years will take revenge and throw the entire Zionist project into the dustbin of history. And that would be really tragic, because of course the Israelis deserve peace and security. But there cannot be peace and security without your neighbor having peace and security.
