Idk what the internet’s obsession is with this being obnoxiously introverted stuff. Go out and do stuff with people and be around your friends. Just sitting at home doing nothing isn’t something to be proud of.
i see that you have gotten some downvotes. but what you’ve said, i think is quite fair.
for myself tho, i seem to have a very hard time guessing whether or not i am going to be willing to do a thing in the future. it’s not that i am purposefully isolating, but rather, if i say that i will or will not is a near guarantee that i will not or will, respectively.
I really don’t understand why people can’t just say “no, I’m not feeling it”. This wishy washy waste of everyone’s time is just kinda annoying. If your friends get mad at you for not being available, you unequivocally need new friends. Nut up and say “no”, my guy. It’ll keep them from having to wonder about you the entire time.
solid advice. i see how others behave. i know what is expected. i do try to be mindful.
i have never forgotten the time 20 years ago when a good friend called me a flake. i actually had to lookup the meaning. over the next few days, i realized this is an accurate description… still not sure how i feel about that.

i am also bad at guessing in general.
