Let’s be clear, billionaires don’t generally have billions of stagnant wealth, they have shares in giant companies worth billions. So technically the money is put to work keeping the companies going. They cannot legally sell all their shares at once. Not quite the same as billions in the bank, but the dividends alone generate more than any given dozen of us. Fuck em.
