In the Mastodon app, there is a News tab, why is that ? Is it a way do monetize the service or just a help to check up on the hot news going on on Mastodon ?
I see News in the Mastodon app v2.3.0 on Google Play. It’s under the Search button - News tab.
It says they are the news stories getting talked about on Mastodon. But it looks like links to articles from news outlets rather than a trending page?
