I think they’re going to rule on the two Trump cases in different ways so they can claim they will be “unbiased.”
They will allow Trump to be on the ballot
They will say Trump is not immune to prosecution
Republicans will then say “OhH sEe CoNsErVaTiVe SuPrEmE cOuRt iS sO uNbIaSeD” while also delaying Trump’s trials so they will not be finished until after the election
