    So Menendez is probably going to face a criminal trial for stuff he did in 2022 before Trump gets his trial for stuff he did in 2021? Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that this corrupt jackass might finally see some justice this year, but I’d prioritize violent traitors over greedy hacks personally.

      And Texas state Attorney General Ken Paxton’s secutities fraud trial, a first-degree felony with a punishment of up to 99 years in prison, for crimes he committed in 2011 and was indicted for 9 years ago? It’s a freaking master class in delaying a trial. They have made every move in the book, and probably added a few chapters to it, in order to delay this or get it thrown out. Hell, the prosecutors haven’t even been paid since 2016!
