Theology is the study of religion, etc… Atheism is just someone who isn’t a theist, it’s just a generic term. You can do this with everything. Political, apolitical, social, asocial, etc…
for one thing, that’s literally not why it’s structured like that. It’s structured like that because of how the english language works. Take that up with big language, not big religion.

This is like complaining about dehydration being the term for people who “havent consumed enough water” because it was created by the rich elities who can drink enough water. It’s literally just language. Why is this such a big pain point for you? I literally do not understand why.
