I dont k ow why they felt the need to bring his sexuality into it to make a joke, especially since hes actually bisexual, not gay. But it has nothing to do with the content. He does make long videos and you do need some time to watch them, but i assure you they are worth it. Highly entertaining and interesting.

Anyway i watched the most recent one in 2-3 sittings. Around an hour or so for each. Treat them like episodes. There are “chapters” in the videos anyway so ymthey are broken up already.

I was actually wondering if they were saying he was lgbt or he just had a disproportionately gay fan base presumably because of his Leftist views.

Little of both. He made quite a few references to being bi in the plagiarism video because the meat of it was about a very popular LGBTQ+ YouTuber. I know, still sounds dumb, but the internet being what it is, he probably felt somewhat pressured to mention it lest he be accused of being homophobic. Thankfully, most of said YouTuber’s fans who had much to say about it didn’t level too much ire at Hbomberguy for the callout.

Also the guy Hbomberguy was going after had dismissed criticism (and been supported by their fanbase) because the person doing the criticizing wasn’t LGBTQ+.

The whole video is very conscious of “if you try to shoot the king, you better not miss”, and holy shit he didn’t just break out the atomics he showed all the math.
